The Zugspitze is one of the iconic lookout mountains of the Alps. This is due to the absence of similarly high peaks in the immediate vicinity. On clear days, the panoramic view is breathtaking! Under favorable weather conditions, Germany's highest vantage point at nearly 3,000 meters offers unobstructed views of more than 400 peaks across Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland – including the highest mountains of the Eastern Alps such as the Grossglockner (3,798 m), Wildspitze (3,768 m), Ortler (3,905 m), and Piz Bernina (4,049 m).

This aquatic paradise for both young and old features a swimming area (1.70 – 2.80 m deep) and a children's area (only 40 – 80 cm deep), where little ones can play and splash around. Additionally, there is a large sunbathing area, a diving board, and a slide.
Other offerings at the Sports and Leisure Park include: a rafting facility for children, a kids' quad course, mini-golf, a beach volleyball court, a tennis court, a small-field sports area, and a children's playground.
Experience the fjord-like landscape and the crystal-clear waters of Heiterwanger See and Plansee with a ride on one of the passenger ships. The MS Margarethe and MS Wilhelm operate from mid-May to mid-October across Heiterwanger See and Plansee.
There are a total of four boarding and disembarking points available. These can also be easily combined with individual hikes along the water.
